Kim Larson
CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Kim is a creative director and designer known for her combination of versatility and her out-of-the-box approach. She’s currently the art director of Edify magazine and is a former art director at Venture Publishing, where she oversaw several titles. Working with an extensive network of photographers and illustrators, Kim has designed, redesigned, and art-directed a dozen publications that have won numerous high-profile magazine awards. She wants your cookbook to become everyone’s dog-eared favourite.

Jennifer Cockrall
HEAD OF PROJECTS
Jennifer has more than 25 years of experience in food writing, editing, and publishing. She teaches food writing and her prose has appeared in publications such as enRoute, Maclean’s, Cottage Life, Chicago Sun-Times, and more. She is the author of three books: Food and the City (translated into three languages), Food Artisans of the Okanagan, and tawâw: Progressive Indigenous Cuisine, which she co-authored with chef Shane Chartrand. When Jenn reads a cookbook, she starts with the index section.

Mifi Purvis
HEAD OF EDITORIAL
Mifi knows how to work with new and seasoned writers to bring out their best. She was the director of custom content at Venture Publishing and the house editor of Food For Thought magazine. More recently, she has been working on the editorial team at New Trail magazine. She has an extensive background in publishing and strategic communications, and her writing has appeared in Reader’s Digest, Canadian Geographic, Canadian Business, Avenue, and more.
